The word confidence originates from the Latin word ‘confidere’ meaning ‘to have full trust’. Therefore, when you have good self-confidence, you trust yourself completely.
If you have been through a time of stress, trauma or unsettling change, you may get to a stage where you begin to question that trust in yourself, wondering if you could have done things differently, or handled things better.These thoughts lead to a lack of self-trust, which can take you to a place of lack when it comes to confidence and self-worth.
Hypnotherapy can help to take you through the process of letting go, re-framing negative self-belief, and give you a strong focus and the desire to create a more positive outlook.
Maybe you have suffered with a lack of confidence through your entire adult life, which is not uncommon and often caused by events in your formative years.
